Highlights in the auction include an abstract mixed-media artwork by John Chamberlain with Castelli provenance; a modernist William Baziotes watercolor dated 1958; a signature painted black wall piece by 20th century artist Louise Nevelsen; a fine Philadelphia silk on linen pictorial needlework sampler; an exceptional Georgian silver champagne urn hallmarked by William Pitts; a pair of 19th century Continental gilt silver candlesticks with figural mythological serpents; an important and large Northwest Coast ladle with copper plaque and totem carved handle; and a large lot of photographs and photo-murals by Edward Steichen exhibited at the 1933 World's Fair in Chicago.
